Thermal Imaging

Is your inspector 'blind'?!

                     This what you see.

                     This what you see.

This is what other inspectors see.

This is what other inspectors see.

                     This is what I see.

                     This is what I see.

If your inspector can't see it, he won't know about it...and neither will you.

The thermal image above indicates that there is insulation completely missing in the exterior wall cavity next to the window. This defect would never have been found during an inspection without the use of infrared thermography.

Thermal imaging using an infrared thermography camera helps me to discover and recognize defects related to moisture intrusion, insulation, structure, electric, air infiltration, and energy loss that are not apparent to the naked eye.

The camera sees light that is within the heat spectrum that exists just beyond the spectrum that can be seen with the naked eye. Differing heat signatures are displayed in the camera's viewfinder as a gradient color scheme, with hotter areas displayed as brighter colors, and cooler areas as darker colors. Wet areas can be bright or dark, depending upon the surrounding environmental conditions.

I use thermal imaging technology in every inspection that I do - at no extra charge to you.
